The Very Hungry Caterpillar Creative Play is a great app for iOS that will let kids draw and unleash their creativity with Eric Carle images and textures. The app does cost a few bucks but there are no in app purchases and you get a lot for the price. There are templates to color of Eric Carle's best loved characters, and the app provides you with seasonal content at the right times of year.
The only thing that people don't like about this app is that there is no undo feature, which is really useful for kids who might not have perfect fine motor control just yet. If they added this, the app would be just perfect!
