Reigns is a unique game. It has adorable graphics and funny premises that will likely keep you engaged. You play the part of a monarch and you have to keep your people happy. However, each year of your reign brings a silly or ridiculous request from your people, and you have to try to fulfill it. However, each of the things you do to quell an uprising can have lasting consequences later on.
It's a fun game with a simple premise that is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, ultimately. While a family could reign over hundreds of years, a reign of 25 years is more likely in this game.
